Meet Expectations
All athletes need to be prepared for their events. If you sign up for certain events you are responsible for participating in those specific events and reporting to them on time! You are encouraged to cheer on all other athletes from Inver Grove Heights during the entire meet. You are expected to stay for the entire meet (even after your events) and strongly recommended to ride the bus home with the teammates. If for some reason you need to leave the meet early, you must have a parent come and sign you out with a coach. You are NOT allowed to leave with anyone but your own parents. You live in Minnesota! Anticipate snow, cold, wind or rain everyday. Be prepared to add or remove layers of clothing to stay comfortable. When we go to the meet, you must be dressed appropriately for the weather. If not, you will NOT be allowed to board the bus. Possible clothing includes hats, jackets, thermal socks, gloves/mittens, sweat pants, long underwear, tights, wind proof shell and running shoes.
Making sure we are prepared for meets will improve performances and make competition a better experience for all.
